Join us for a five week series for parents and children ages 1-3. Each program offers opportunities for children to play with developmentally appropriate toys in a play group atmosphere and for parents to visit with early childhood specialists in the areas of child development, speech and language, nutrition, play movement and music. Class size is limited. Registration is required and is for the series. 6. Playground Build For Special Kids!

CALLING ALL OK CHIVERS! It s time to build the playground! We have a LOT to do - it s time to build all the things, including putting up a new fence and spreading mulch! Bring the power tools, shovels, hammers, drills, all of it! Oh, and GLOVES! Almost every thing we have done at the playground has been family friendly, but I WOULD ask, after speaking with Ms Jo and looking at all we will be doing- say it is probably best to leave the little kiddos at home. Trucks and Power tools and deliveries will be happening, and we don t want any little kiddos in the way. Some things we will be building include: 3 bay swing with shade Wheelchair swing Omni spinner Parallel bars Climbing net Monkey bars Soccer goals Sand and water Art easels Privacy fence and HOPEFULLY- pending delivery- The main structure. Here is the deal with surfacing: The poured in place won t be in until Feb. 11th. So a dump truck will bring us 15 tons of mulch from the city. There will be a bull dozer there and the playground guys will do this. NO WE CANNOT DRIVE THE BULLDOZER- Ms JO ALREADY ASKED- SIMMER DOWN Dia will make tacos. Noah s Park will have a crew here to make sure we don t put everything together backwards and make sure it is up to code. Coffee Bunker has some awesome veterans that are ready to come help us, and we can use all the help and tools we can get! Let s get this done for the kiddos!!!!
