Corey Loftice is a United States Army veteran after serving 5 years as a Forward Observer (13F) in the 1st Calvary Division. He has been in Law Enforcement for 7 years. For the first 2 years, Corey started at the City of Langston Police Department as a reserve officer and leaving as a full-time employee and Chief of Police. Corey is now a part of the Grady County Sheriff s Office in the Patrol Division. He has many certifications including SWAT, Narc Assualt and Air Assault. He serves as an FTO (Field Training Officer) to his peers as well as being on the CIT (Crisis Intervention Team) for his community. Over the course of his career, Corey has received recognition and many accolades for his service including a life saving award in 2014 after performing CPR for a victim suffering from a heart attack and two Letters of Commendation for being a certified bad-ass during a gunfight showdown in 2013. In March of 2016, Corey was diagnosed with IgA Nephropathy and is now in End Stage Renal Failure (Stage 5 Kidney Failure). He is currently on the kidney transplant list and anxiously awaiting a positive match. Until then, Corey continues to battle high blood pressure, extreme fatigue, low hemoglobin, and major swelling in his legs. Corey requires weekly dialysis to combat health issues. He s saved many lives and now it s time we save his. Help us raise money for Corey by supporting him in several different ways. We have two opportunities (Tulsa and OKC) for you to get some new ink (Thanks to Tank who is donating ALL proceeds to Corey ) in honor of him with a kickass selection of tattoos varying in price. Tank is coming in HOT to Tulsa on January 28th and 29th ( Black Sheep Tattoos-8316 E 61st St.) and will be available in OKC at her shop (Creative Tradition Tattoos) on February 4th and 5th. Then, on February 11th, OK Chive will be hosting a benefit for Corey at Margarita Island. $5 suggested donation at the door- and 100% of door proceeds go to Corey as well. Come out and party for a purpose to help us raise a ridiculous amount of money!!! The First Friday Art Crawl was established in 2007. This year-round monthly event features all of the galleries, studios and museums as well as the part-time galleries in various shops opening their doors to show art. The Art Crawl is held on the first Friday of the month and open from 6 9 pm.

Each program offers opportunities for children to play with developmentally appropriate toys in a play group atmosphere and for parents to visit with early childhood specialists in the areas of child development, speech and language, nutrition, play movement and music. Partner poses are not only fun but also a great way to connect with your partner. You ll be forced to communicate effectively (to let each other know how the adjustments feel) and to act with sensitivity (to ensure that the amount of force you re using is appropriate). Aren t those skills every couple could stand to practice? Tami & Stephen will be tying in Thai bodywork into the workshop. Thai bodywork is more energizing and rigorous than more classic forms of bodywork. Thai bodywork is also called Thai yoga massage, because the therapist uses his or her hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like stretches. Many people say Thai massage is like doing yoga without any work. Stay for some tea & chocolate covered strawberries! Only 10 spots (couples) available! Please pre-register! $60 pre-registered (per couple) or $75 at the door.
