Karlee Webb has recently earned her certification in Kids CPR and has offered her services for a Kids Night Out!!! Lifepoint families are welcome to bring their kiddos to the church for a night of fun with Karlee, her mom, and a few other teen volunteers. Donations will be accepted and will go toward the building fund and registration fees for the OYEAH Student Retreat. PLEASE RSVP.

4. 8th Annual Mardi Gras Celebration

The Blue Dome Merchant Association would like to invite you all to The 8th Annual Mardi Gras Celebration. The Mardi Gras Celebration will feature two key events, the Mardi Gras Parade and District Crawl. Bring the family, weave in and out of Blue Dome District locations with your Mardi Gras punch cards to earn prizes, feast on unique cuisine and drink specials. The event is scheduled for Feb 28th from 6-10PM with parade starting at 7pm taking place in Tulsa s own Music and Entertainment District. 2017 s Mardi Gras Parade is already on track to be the largest in the parade s history. This years parade will feature two grand marshals, Erin Christy from KTUL and Good Day Tulsa along with Jerry Wofford music and entertainment writer for the Tulsa World. Applications are still being accepted if you would like to enter your school, dance team, band, business, non-profit or float, applications must be filed by February 20th. Application Link Below:

Corey Loftice is a United States Army veteran after serving 5 years as a Forward Observer (13F) in the 1st Calvary Division. He has been in Law Enforcement for 7 years. For the first 2 years, Corey started at the City of Langston Police Department as a reserve officer and leaving as a full-time employee and Chief of Police. Corey is now a part of the Grady County Sheriff s Office in the Patrol Division. He has many certifications including SWAT, Narc Assualt and Air Assault. He serves as an FTO (Field Training Officer) to his peers as well as being on the CIT (Crisis Intervention Team) for his community. Over the course of his career, Corey has received recognition and many accolades for his service including a life saving award in 2014 after performing CPR for a victim suffering from a heart attack and two Letters of Commendation for being a certified bad-ass during a gunfight showdown in 2013. In March of 2016, Corey was diagnosed with IgA Nephropathy and is now in End Stage Renal Failure (Stage 5 Kidney Failure). He is currently on the kidney transplant list and anxiously awaiting a positive match. Until then, Corey continues to battle high blood pressure, extreme fatigue, low hemoglobin, and major swelling in his legs. Corey requires weekly dialysis to combat health issues. He s saved many lives and now it s time we save his. Help us raise money for Corey by supporting him in several different ways. We have two opportunities (Tulsa and OKC) for you to get some new ink (Thanks to Tank who is donating ALL proceeds to Corey ) in honor of him with a kickass selection of tattoos varying in price. Tank is coming in HOT to Tulsa on January 28th and 29th ( Black Sheep Tattoos-8316 E 61st St.) and will be available in OKC at her shop (Creative Tradition Tattoos) on February 4th and 5th. Then, on February 11th, OK Chive will be hosting a benefit for Corey at Margarita Island. $5 suggested donation at the door- and 100% of door proceeds go to Corey as well. Come out and party for a purpose to help us raise a ridiculous amount of money!!!
